Bringing the pieces together.
A career at the intersection of engineering, housing, sustainability, and real estate—and a commitment to translating ideas into places people can call home.
Engineer. City planner. Housing innovator.
Jamie has more than 15 years of experience spanning mechanical engineering, affordable housing, building science, sustainability, and commercial real estate.
She earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Hampshire and a Master in City Planning from MIT, where she conducted research with the Sustainable Design Lab.
Her professional experience includes work with Harvard's Office for Sustainability, New York City's Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, alongside leadership of decarbonization and climate strategy for large real estate portfolios.
Growing up in the Bristol area shaped her connection to New Hampshire and her interest in housing that supports both people and place.

What if we designed housing around everything that matters?
Not just the number of units built or the initial construction cost—but health, energy, adaptability, resilience, beauty, and whether a home helps people remain connected to their communities.
FIRST Communities and the proposed NH Housing Innovation Lab are two ways of exploring that question: one through development, the other through applied research.
